About us

Thank you for checking us out here at Willy Milly Creations and taking a moment to see who we are and what we are all about.

In 2019, the dream of Willy Milly Creations was formed. As a mum of 2 under 2 life was really just kicking off in overdrive, but the dream to start a business and have a creative outlet was too strong to ignore. Due to the all-engrossing nature of babies and toddlers, the desire to create my own clothing and accessories for my children started off what is now Willy Milly Creations.

It was an organic start, with great mentors, friends (and an ever-patient husband), who all inspired us to get up and running. As we manoeuvred through the year that was 2020, we now have kicked off 2021 full of positivity, inspiration and excited for what is to come.

Our style here at Willy Milly Creations is a reflection of my own mismatched passions. At my heart you’ll discover a strong coastal influence, with a twist of desert and boho vibes. I should also note that I love a good floral and I’m a total sucker for a neutral print. Sooooo, if you’re trying to piece that all together (I am right there with you), feel free to sit back, follow us on the socials, and enjoy what craziness is to come.

What’s in a name?

The name Willy Milly Creations came into existence not long after the birth of our second child, Amelia. The business is therefore a token of love towards our two little crazy offspring – William and Amelia. If we have any additional children we may be in quite the predicament.

Where are you located?

We live in Forbes, NSW, Australia. A small rural town located in the central west of NSW, roughly 5 hours west of Sydney. It is quite the trek from Coffs Harbour, where both myself and my husband grew up, however Forbes in the birthplace of both our children and Willy Milly Creations.

What is in the making?

As I navigate the direction of the business, I feel drawn to upcycling and recycling. Fast fashion in western society is a major concern. If we can work towards eliminating single use products, then we will be taking small steps in the right direction. We owe it to both the environment we live in and the society our children are going to grow up in, to ensure that we can leave it in a better place than when we started. That is a momentous task, so I am hoping to do my part in making cute and affordable creations, whilst being mindful of our environmental footstep in the process.

We will continue to remain organic in product direction and growth; allowing the business to follow its own path (wherever that may be). So buckle up if you’re in for the ride as I’m sure it will be quite the adventure.
